Popular Bangladeshi singer and actor Tahsan has decided to self-quarantine as coronavirus outbreak continues to put a halt to daily life across the board. After his recent trip from Japan, Tahsan released a statement on March 14 announcing his plan to socially distance himself.
He wrote: "I have decided to put a stop to all my work. I think the best we can do right now is to quarantine ourselves. I hope everyone understands the gravity of the situation."
According to reports, Tahsan was supposed to participate in the shooting of an upcoming drama on March 18. However, he firmly expressed his reluctance to work by saying: "This is not the time to work. We have more pressing issues to focus on, namely saving our lives."
Tahsan urged his fans to take every precaution to stay safe as well.
His concerts in America and Australia have recently been cancelled.
