Pori Moni gets married

Popular actor Pori Moni and theater director Kamruzzaman Roni have tied the knots on March 10, at Rajarbagh, Dhaka. 

Both of them broke the news of their wedding on Facebook by changing their relationship status to 'married.' 

The theatre director and member of Nagorik Theatre Community Kamruzzaman Roni said: "Our marriage was by all means sudden. We are currently staying at Karamjal, where Pori Moni is busy with the shooting of the film Adventure in Sundarban."

Pori Moni met Roni only five months ago during the shooting of 1971: Shei Shob Din. Roni happened to be the Assistant Director of the film. 

Pori Moni said that they were shooting scenes in Thakurgaon from March 3 to March 7, which is when they fell in love.

She said: "After coming back to Dhaka, I started missing Roni a lot. We met on March 9. He proposed to me, and I gladly agreed.

"We got married that very night!"
