Cops are reaching out to Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput’s close friends, as the investigation of the cause of this death intensifies. Actor Rhea Chakraborty, who was allegedly dating the Kai Po Che actor, was interrogated on Thursday by the Mumbai Police for nine hours.
According to Times of India, Rhea confirmed during the interrogation that she had been living with Rajput. The couple had been looking to jointly invest in property after getting married.Rhea’s phone was thoroughly scanned by the police, including the pictures and videos of the couple and the texts exchanged. She said that she had left the Carter Road penthouse the couple shared after getting into a fight, but they had kept in touch.
Other sources added that Rhea also happened to be the last person Rajput called before going to sleep everyday.
Rajput was found dead at his Bandra home on June 14. Initial reports suggested that the actor had committed suicide. The actor was cremated on Monday amid heavy rainfall. The police have so far recorded the statements of 13 people in connection to his death.
