Bangladesh Television is set to air many special programs for the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. A number of special dramas and telefilms will be telecast over the seven days. There will also be programs on music, puppetry, cooking and social issues.
A folk music program titled Bhober Haate Eid Bazar will be hosted by Farzana Alam Bithi. Singers Shafi Mondol and Sultana Yeasmin Laila will perform eight songs. The special program will be aired on the first day of Eid at 7.30pm.
Popular magazine show Anandamela will be aired on the day of Eid after the 10pm news. Nusrat Faria will host the Eid special program.
A special drama titled Sompurno Poribhar will be aired on the third day of Eid following the 10pm news. The drama will revolved around a retired mathematician who has never married and is now eager to conduct a unique social experiment. He hires a few theatre actors to play his family members. However, during his days of severe crisis, the actors display genuine concern and love for him.
The 50-minute drama will examine our social values, read a BTV press release.
In total, one telefim, four special dramas, five music programs and others will be aired on BTV this EId.
