A horror miniseries titled 4 Shades of Leap, directed by Indranil Banerjee, will be released in October on Amazon Prime and MX Player.

The four-episode series, based on real events, will explore four different shades of horror, informed the director.

The first episode titled Best Evil Christmas will revolve around two friends, Lisa and Merry, who choose to stay at their hostel during Christmas, soon regretting their decision.

The second episode titled The Doomed Destination centres on two co-workers who cannot find a ride home, and when they do, they wish they did not.

The third episode titled Muri Ghonto is about a father-daughter duo recreating their favourite dish.

The final episode titled Laxmi revolves around a bereaved mother, mourning her little daughter’s death.

Director Banerjee says, “This is the first time a horror miniseries has been made in India. Amazon Prime will release the series on the first day of September.”

Indranil Banerjee is best known for making a few acclaimed short films including The Chase, The Mirage Trinayani-The 3rd Eye, One Night Stand, Hello among others.
