The actor was diagnosed with lung cancer in August
Sanjay Dutt's first cycle of chemotherapy is successfully over and the second one begins next week, reported ETimes. It is not yet known how many cycles will be required in the actor’s fight against lung cancer.
The Munna Bhai MBBS actor was diagnosed with cancer in August after checking into a hospital due to breathlessness. He had contemplated going to the US for treatment, but later opted for treatment at a hospital in Mumbai.

Dutt, 61, had announced that he is taking a short break from acting. However, he is appearing in upcoming films Shamshera, RRR and Prithviraj, the release dates of which may be pushed back until the actor is fully recovered.
