The singer/songwriter confirmed the news on social media
Aurthohin frontman Saidus Salehin Khaled, popularly known as Bassbaba Sumon, and son Ahnaf Salehin Khaled have tested positive for Covid-19.
The singer/songwriter confirmed the news on Facebook on Monday, September 14. He wrote: "Ahnaf and I have Covid-19. Everyone please pray for us."
He was last seen performing at the Joy Bangla concert on March 7 where he made a surprise appearance leaning on a crutch. He remarked at the concert: “This might be my last concert, my last stage performance.”
Sumon has been fighting cancer for almost a decade. In March, he had to cancel a scheduled surgery in Germany due to the coronavirus outbreak.
