'I think Sushant taught us a lesson. He has opened our eyes'
Amit Sadh began his career, starring alongside Sushant Singh Rajput in Kai Po Che!. The actor, who previously remained silent on Sushant’s tragic demise and caught flak for it online, is now opening up about co-star's death.
“I took a flight from Kullu to Delhi, and the sequence number on my boarding pass was ‘SSR’. I just couldn’t get it at first and then I said, only I had to get this,” Sadh told FIlmfare about this recent coincidence that he found meaningful.
“I think Sushant taught us a lesson. He has opened our eyes,” the actor added.

The 37-year-old actor got emotional while discussing the impact of Sushant’s death on the film industry. “The world has changed with coronavirus, of course the industry will also change or has been affected with the way we have lost Sushant. And I hope you are affected with it, because if you are not then we are not humans. And if you're not human beings then we should not be telling stories about human beings and making movies. I just hope that an incident like this is not repeated.”
Amit wrote an emotional note earlier on June 14 , the day when Sushant passed away, “I am sorry. I did not come to your rescue. Will regret all my life not reaching out! But I will cherish the time we shared filming Kai Po Che. Rest in peace bhai.”
