Beloved actor Abdul Kader was laid to rest at Banani graveyard post Maghrib on Saturday. His body had been taken to Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy at 3pm to allow people to pay their last respects.
The actor breathed his last at Evercare Hospital around 8:20am on Saturday while undergoing treatment. He was diagnosed with stage IV cancer and later tested positive for Covid-19.

Abdul Kader became a household name for his iconic character Bodi in Humayun Ahmed's serial "Kothao Keu Nei." He had a regular spot, Mama-Bhagne, on Hanif Sanket's "Ityadi."
President Md Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed deep shock and sorrow at the demise of the popular actor.
The actor left behind his wife, son, daughter, a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
