The four-part documentary ‘Allen v Farrow’ will premiere on HBO on February 21
HBO released the official trailer for ‘Allen v Farrow' on February 16, featuring new interviews with the Farrow family, who look back on the sexual abuse allegations against director Woody Allen.
Directed by Kirby Dick and Amy Ziering, the four-part docuseries revolves around the relationship between Woody Allen and Mia Farrow that ended over a string of scandals, including sexual assault allegations against Allen involving Dylan, the couple’s seven-year-old daughter; the controversial custody trial and Allen’s subsequent marriage to Soon-Yi, Farrow’s adopted daughter who at the time lived with the couple.
Never-seen-before home movie footage, court documents, police evidence and interviews with Mia Farrow, Dylan Farrow, Ronan Farrow, family friend Carly Simon, prosecutor Frank Maco, relatives, police officers, experts and other eyewitnesses are featured in the documentary.
Prominent industry insiders, critics and cultural figures also discuss how Allen’s art has been affected in later years by the controversies surrounding his personal life.
