Lux relaunched in Bangladesh

The glorious journey of Lux in different eras were showcased in the grand program

Lux, the first ever beauty and an iconic personal care brand of Unilever Bangladesh Ltd (UBL),  kicked off its launch program named “Moonstruck Evening” in style, at Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden.  

With the brand’s star-studded legacy, Lux celebrates stardom, glamour and everything that is boldly and unapologetically feminine. 

Over 50 glorious years of operation in Bangladesh, on its eventful journey, Lux has redefined the way women perceive themselves by igniting the confidence to express themselves every day. In this journey, the most iconic stars of the country have endorsed the brand. 

Being the market leader in Bangladesh, with 94 out of every 100 households using this brand, Lux promises to care for the skin with its finest fragrances, allowing women to indulge in self-care.

The event started with Mr Afzal Khan, Beauty and Personal Care Director of Unilever Bangladesh Limited, shedding light on Lux’s long heritage. Forwarding to Nabila Jabeen Khan, Category Head-Skin Cleansing of Unilever Bangladesh Limited, talking about the brand’s purpose and finally, Kedar Lele, Chairman and Managing Director of Unilever Bangladesh Limited, unveiling the brand’s new product with grandeur. 

The glorious journey of Lux in different eras were showcased in the grand programme, followed by a special segment titled "Lux-Struck Life”:  a stroll down the memory lane with Lux Stars, musical performance by the talented Elita Karim and finally a show-stopping dance performance by Ridy Sheikh, brought the evening to an end. 

Distinguished celebrities of the country, both current and past brand ambassadors and stars of Lux gathered on the momentous occasion and reminisced their glorious journey with Lux and its impact in their real lives. 

Since 1925, Lux has been bringing the best of beauty – and the pleasure that comes with it – to every woman in the world. 

Marking the brand’s new era, Chairman and Managing Director of Unilever Bangladesh Limited, Kedar Lele said, "I am delighted to welcome this grand union to witness the beginning of a new era for the brand. Since the beginning, Lux has left a lasting mark throughout the eras in the glamour world by creating icons and setting a beauty standard. We believe, through this grand moment, Lux is stepping into a brand-new era and will carry along its journey of glory."
