The docudrama tells the story of martyred freedom fighter Sergeant Mohi Alam Chowdhury, who was mysteriously killed during an operation on November 17, 1971
A press-show of docudrama ‘Duiti Juddher Ekti Golpo’ was held at Deepto TV’s office on March 24. Based on real events, the drama would premiere on this channel on Independence Day, March 26 at 11pm.
Directed and conceptualized by Deepto TV CEO Fuad Chowdhury, the docudrama tells the story of martyred freedom fighter Sergeant Mohi Alam Chowdhury, who was mysteriously killed during an operation on November 17, 1971. For many years, his fate was unknown to his family and friends.
Penned by Fahmidur Rahman, the Deepto TV documentary would also follow his niece Marzan Begum who embarks on a new arduous journey to discover what happened to her uncle on that fateful day.
‘Duiti Juddher Ekti Golpo’ would oscillate between fiction and documentary to dramatize the struggles of Marzan Begum and freedom fighter Mohi Alam, and would also include rare historical footage and interviews with important figures.
