'Khun Ghor' will be telecast on BTV at 9pm on March 26
Bangladesh Television has always celebrated national holidays will style. This Independence Day marking 50 years of Bangladesh amped up the programming this year. Apart from the staple live telecast from the national parade ground at 4:30pm and the various talk shows and musical programs, BTV's long standing tradition will continue with a war drama at 9pm.
Written by Harun Rashid and directed by Abu Towhid, Khun Ghor will tell the story of photographer Anwar Hossain as he stays at a postal bungalow. Three strangers knock on his door late at night. They tell Anwar how they visit this place to recall haunting memories. They share the gruesome stories of how people were murdered in that bungalow during the Liberation War; locals including themselves. The trio leave before sunrise, leaving Anwar with clues to photograph places with historical significance.
The ensamble cast of the drama includes Mamunur Rashid, Dilruba Doyel, Monir Ahammed Shakil and so on.
