The Eid special drama will premiere on Deepto TV
Rafiath Rashid Mithila and Partha Barua are teaming up after eight years for a new series “Sukhi Atta.”
Mithila and Partha Barua were last seen together in national award-winning director Redoan Rony’s drama “Ayna Mohol.” The duo has starred in three projects together.
Written by Shafiqur Rahman Santanu, “Sukhi Atta” follows a private office employee Omio, played by musician Parha Barua, who often writes epitaphs for others. One day his boss gives him the task of penning an epitaph for his dying daughter Mithy, played by popular actress Mithila.
Filming has begun at Uttara on Monday, June 27. Directed by Alok Hasan, the drama will premiere on Deepto TV on the upcoming Eid al-Adha.
Member of the rock band ‘Souls,’ Partha Barua enjoys dabbling in Television dramas. He is next set to appear in Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s debut web series “Ladies and gentlemen.”
