Rabindranath Tagore, who was the first non-European to win the Nobel Prize in Literature, passed away on August 7 in 1941 at the age of 80
BTV is set to air the special drama, “Poyla Number,” on the 80th death anniversary of the legendary Nobel Prize laureate, Rabindranath Tagore.
Based on the short story of the same name, the drama will be aired on Friday, August 6 after the 10pm English news segment.
Directed by Faridur Rahman, the drama boasts an ensemble cast of Ramiz Raju, Golam Kibria Tanvir, Sabrina Shafi Nisa and others.
The drama revolves around the marriage between Anila and Aditya. Trouble starts to brew when a young landlord settles in their neighborhood.
