Production will soon begin in Varanasi for the new film
Rafiath Rashid Mithila is confirmed to star in prominent Indian-Bengali filmmaker Riingo Banerjee's latest feature "A River in Heaven."
Produced by Flixbug and penned by Ringo himself, the film will explore the impact of water on our lives as a force of good as well as devastation.
Revolving around the mighty river Ganga, the film follows a middle aged couple struggling with infertility in a turbulent marriage, who decides to visit Varanasi in a bid to fulfill their hearts’ desires.

The cast also includes Debshankar Halder (Babulal Subramanian), Chandreyee Ghosh (Bela), Rafiath Rashid Mithila (Bishakha), Amrita Chattopadhyay (Shaon), Sromona Chakraborty (Bhawari), Sudip Mukherjee (Sundar Bhai), Bobby Chakraborty (Swapan), Sayan Ghosh (Tattoo), Sujoy Prasad Chatterjee (Bob Chatterjee) and Tannishtha Biswas (Banno).
