This is the first time that three Bangladeshi films -- 'Rehana Maryam Noor,' 'No Land's Man,' and 'Payer Tolay Mati Nai' have been selected at this festival
Drector Mohammad Rabby Mridha's feature debut "Payer Tolay Mati Nai" has been selected at the 26th Busan International Film Festival.
This year, the largest Asian film festival will be held from October 6 to October 15 at the Busan Cinema Center in Busan, South Korea. It will screen 223 films from 70 countries all around the world.
Produced by Abu Shahed Emon, "Payer Tolay Mati Nai" follows a man named Saiful and the dilemmas that he has to navigate in daily life while maintaining his two marriages and performing his professional, social and ethical duties.
The film was written and directed by young filmmaker Mohammad Rabbi Mridha.
The film will be screened on October 7, 8 and 13, at the "A Window on Asian Cinema" category in Busan.
