BGB beat BSF 40-29 in basketball match

A prelude to the bilateral conference between BGB and the Indian Border Security Force (BSF), the match took place in the National Basketball Gymnasium in Dhanmondi. The fiercely competitive match saw players of both sides push their limits to score, as the defence of both teams was on point.In attendance were BGB Director General Maj Gen Abul Hassan and BSF Director General Shri KK Sharma, along with officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of both countries. The players of both teams were awarded for their show of sportsmanship. The Sunday conference is scheduled to last till Tuesday, over which the commanders of both border agencies will discuss how best to tackle smuggling, border incursions, abductions, shootings, among other issues.
