BSPA celebrates sports night

Kaler Kantha senior reporter Noman Mohammad was named the journalist for the year 2018 as the Bangladesh Sports Press Association celebrated its sports night awards in Dhaka Saturday. 

Noman received the award from BFF and Saff president Kazi Salahuddin.

BSPA president Mostafa Mamun was present, among others, during the programme while former general secretary Rezwanujjaman Rajib hosted the event.

Kaler Kantha special correspondent Sanat Babla received the Ataul Haque Mallick trophy for the best interview piece.

ATN News’ Sheikh Ashik was handed the Badi-uz-zaman trophy for the year’s best exclusive story. 

Noman also received the Abdul Hamid trophy for the best series of reports.

Cricinfo’s Bangladesh correspondent Mohammad Isam won the Ranjit Biswas trophy for the best feature report/documentary.
