The 9th Summit Open and 23rd Summit Cup Golf Tournament got underway at Kurmitola Golf Club Sunday. The six-day long tournament will conclude Friday.
More than 700 amateur and professional golfers will be participating in the tournament. A total of Tk15 lakhs worth of prize money will be distributed among the winners of the professional tournament.
Bangladesh Professional Golfers Association and KGC will be managing the tournament, while Summit Group is the title sponsor of the tournament. The prize giving ceremony of the tournament will be held Friday.
Chief of the Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, BBP, OSP, ndu, psc will be present as the chief guest at the prize giving ceremony of the 9th Summit Open and 23rd Summit Cup Golf Tournament.
