The qualification round of the women’s recurve and men’s compound was held on the opening day
The four-day long 3rd ISSF International Solidarity World Ranking Archery Championship, organised by Bangladesh Archery Federation with co-operation from Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation, got underway Saturday with the opening ceremony at Shaheed Ahsan Ullah Master Stadium in Tongi, Gazipur.

A total of 25 countries – host Bangladesh, Albania, Azerbaijan, Chad, Cameroon, Germany, India, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Saudi Arabia, Malyi, Morocco, Nepal, Sudan, Syria, Thailand, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Chinese Taipei, the UAE, Uganda and Algeria - are taking part in the tournament.
Bangladesh team comprise Roman Sana, Imdadul Haque Milon, Hakim Ahmed Rubel, Tamimul Islam, Beauty Roy, Nasrin Akter, Diya Siddiqui, Eti Khatun, Sheikh Sojib, Asim Kumar Das, Abul Kashem Mamun, Milon Mollah, Sushmita Banik, Bonya Akter, Shyamoli Roy and Tamanna Parvin.
