The fifth edition of the Walton National Surfing Competition, organized by Bangladesh Surfing Association, will get underway Friday.
The three-day long tournament will be held at Laboni Point in Cox’s Bazar where 150 surfers will take part.
A total of 75 surfers will qualify for the final round, comprising three categories – senior, women’s and junior.
The details of the event were announced in a press conference Monday at the National Sports Council auditorium.
The competition will be co-sponsored by the BCB and Bangladesh Tourism Board.
