Nigerian forward Sunday Chizoba scored a hat-trick as Abahani Limited comfortably defeated Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society 5-2 in the Bangladesh Premier League at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka Saturday.
Abahani dominated the first half, where Sunday scored twice in the ninth and 33rd minutes of the match.
Jewel Rana scored the third goal for Abahani in the 36th minute.
Just before the half-time whistle, Nabib Newaj Jibon made it 4-0.

Rahmatganj fought back in the second half with goals from Siyo Zunapio and Didarul Alam in the 65th and 70th minutes respectively.
However, their efforts were in vain, as Sunday completed his treble in stoppage time and gave Abahani a comprehensive win.
With this victory, Abahani now sit in second place in the points table with 39 points from 16 matches, while Bashundhara Kings lead the table with 43 points.
Rahmatganj, who registered their seventh loss in the league, remain in ninth place with 15 points.
