Bangladesh have enjoyed good success against West Indies in recent time as they have beaten the Caribbean side thrice in the tri-nation ODI series played in May just prior to the World Cup.
But West Indies have a different team in this World Cup considering their batting department compare to tri-nation ODI series as quite a few numbers of big hitters have been added in their ranks.
Among them two names are most prominent in the likes of Chris Gayle and Andre Russell.
Both Gayle and Russell are renowned as two of the most destructive stroke makers in contemporary cricket.

Before the game, one of the concerns for Bangladesh think tank was how to nullify Gayle and Russell in a relatively small boundary in Taunton.
And whatever plan they made the output was the most perfect one.
Gayle got out in fourth over against Saifuddin after facing 13 deliveries while Russel got his duck in his second delivery against Mustafizur Rahman in the 40th over.
Thanks to the great success of Bangladesh bowlers of resisting those to powerhouses West Indies were restricted for 321 runs in conducive batting condition at a smallish ground.
