The BCB Saturday declared a 15-member squad for the tour of India for the Dr. (Captain) K Thimmappiah Memorial Cricket Tournament.
The longer version tournament this year will feature 16 teams divided into four groups.
The top teams in the group will play the semi-finals of the tournament, which creates cricketers for the Ranji Trophy, the prestigious four-day competition in India.
The BCB intends to develop the mentality of longer version in the cricketers who are in the national pipeline.
The ambition made the board announce a strong squad featuring national discards or those who are in high consideration for the national team.

The BCB XI are scheduled to travel to Bangalore, India Monday.
The 28-day long tournament is slated to begin Wednesday.
BCB XI in Group B have KCSA Secretary’s XI, Vidarbha Cricket Association and Dr DY Patil Cricket Academy as oppositions.
Bangladesh in round one of the competition, will take on VCA in Bangalore.
Though the league stage matches of the tournament will be played at venues in Bangalore and Mysore, the BCB XI are set to play all their matches in Bangalore.
