Kusal Mendis took the walk back to the dressing room setting an example of honesty
Sri Lanka were dominating Bangladesh.
The home side had scored 200 with Mendis and Perera holding the fort.
But when it came to sportsmanship, Mendis kept it intact.
His side in the previous over had lost Perera, but he did not mind walking off to an edge to the Bangladesh wicket-keeper.
A 14-member @BCBtigers team had travelled to Colombo and the team management thought of bringing the out-of-favor Shafiul Islam to the national fold based on practical facts.https://t.co/86tQEjDDbn#BCBTIGERS #BCB #TIGERS #BANGLADESH #CRICKET #BANGLADESHCRICKET #SHAFIULISLAM

There was a mild appeal from Rubel Hossain as the ball was gloved by Mushfiqur Rahim.
The umpire was also unconvinced but Mendis took the walk back to the dressing room setting an example of honesty.
Mendis, who was dropped on 28 by Mahmudullah at long-on, was back to the hut scoring 43 as television replays revealed the slight touch the ball had on his bat.
