The open trial for the Bangladesh junior side, ahead of the U-21 Junior Asia Cup Hockey 2020, began Thursday at Maulana Bhasani National Stadium in Dhaka.
The opening day of the trial saw around 100 participants take part.
Chief coach Mamunur Rashid and his two assistants will supervise the trial, that will run till Wednesday.
From the trial, around 50 will be selected for long-term training.
