The whole country is already in the mood of observing the grand occasion of Eid ul Adha but the women of Bangladesh cricket team cannot afford to take a leave for the festival due to professional responsibilities.
Bangladesh will play the qualifying round of the World T20I which is set to start on August 31 in Scotland and for that reason, the preparation camp will begin from Thursday in Mirpur’s cricket academy.
Emerging Team of Bangladesh women returned from South Africa Tuesday after a memorable series where they beat the host in the bilateral one-day match series.
Few of the cricketers of the national team also were part of the game.
They will join other members for a busy schedule.

“The camp will start from [Thursday]. Girls will play two practice matches against Dhaka Metro U-16 side. After the camp they will fly for the Netherlands where they will take part in a 10-day camp and play four matches,” said Fahim Wednesday.
Rumana Ahmed, one of the most experienced players of the side, thought camping even during an Eid vacation is part of their professional commitment.
“Our job is to play cricket. As we have a big tournament ahead we must work hard,” said Rumana.
Fahim also put faith on the team.
“Our girls have come back from South Africa with confidence. Last time we were champion in the play-off round. This time our team is even stronger. Hopefully we can qualify once again,” said Fahim.
