Shakib al Hasan tried to clear the boundary off a lofted delivery from Ryan Burl but it was actually a chip shot over mid-off and in the end, it looked like catching practice for Sean Williams, who took the catch pretty comfortably
Bangladesh made a good opening stand as Liton Das and debutant Nazmul Hossain Shanto put on 49 on the scoreboard before Shanto departed scoring 11 off the fifth delivery of the fifth over bowled by Kyle Jarvis.
Skipper Shakib al Hasan came out to bat at No 3 and Jarvis bowled a good delivery just outside off-stump.
It looked like Shakib missed it but later TV replays showed that there was a snick.
But none of the Zimbabwe players, neither the bowler nor the wicket-keeper, appealed.
However, Shakib’s innings did not last long as the left hander scored only 10 off nine deliveries.

But the way Shakib got out in the eighth over was eye-catching.
The powerplay ended and there was a fielder at the long off boundary for Shakib.
Shakib tried to clear the boundary off a lofted delivery from Ryan Burl but it was actually a chip shot over mid-off and in the end, it looked like catching practice for Sean Williams, who took the catch pretty comfortably.
Another Shakib innings ended like a “soft dismissal” in this series.
