Bangladesh women cricketers Nigar Sultana and Rumana Ahmed have been named in the ICC Women’s Global Development squad for the six T20s against Women’s Big Bash League teams in Australia, scheduled to be held from October 9-14.
The Development Squad players will then feature for different WBBL sides, with the opening round of matches to take place from October 18-20.
Rumana is set to feature for Hobart Hurricanes while Nigar will join Melbourne Stars.
The 13-member Development squad comprises players from Bangladesh, Scotland, Thailand, Indonesia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Pakistan.
