Jamal Bhuiyan will only be interested to play in the Indian Super League if there is a good offer from the clubs, said the star captain of Bangladesh football team yesterday after receiving offers from agents of the ISL franchises.
Jamal, who currently has a one-year contract with Bangladesh Premier League outfit Saif Sporting Club, reportedly received several offers from ISL and I-League clubs following his performance during the 1-1 draw against India in the World Cup and Asian Cup joint qualifiers in Kolkata last week.
“The agents asked me if I would be interested to join the ISL. They asked me about my current situation (at Saif Sporting),” said Jamal without naming any particular ISL club.

The 29-yeal midfielder continued, “I have to see the contract first. I would only be interested if they offer me a good contract, otherwise no.”
The ongoing season of ISL that kicked off on Sunday will have a mid-season transfer window in December.
Earlier, former Bangladesh captain Mamunul Islam joined ISL franchise Atletico Madrid Kolkata in 2015.
