Terengganu, Gokulam fire blanks

Terengganu FC and Sree Gokulam Kerala FC played out a goalless draw in their Group B match of the Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup at MA Aziz Stadium in the port city Thursday.

Both the teams found it difficult to penetrate the opponents' defence.

Trinidad and Tobago midfielder Nathaniel Garcia, who scored one from a free-kick against Bashundhara in the last match, tried a similar shot from 40 yards out early in the second half but was denied by a superb save by Terengganu goalkeeper Razali.

The stalemate saw Chennai exit the tournament in the first hurdle.

The two sides earned four points each. 

Gokulam will face reigning I-League champion Chennai in their last group phase game Saturday.
