Mushfiq was playing for BCB Red and when he was caught by Ebadat Hossain off the bowling of left-arm spinner after a reverse sweep, he was making his way to the dressing room when a fan from the Grand Stand shouted a comment towards him.
The former Tigers captain, who was out for four runs from three balls, climbed over the gallery railing and got into a heated argument with the spectator.

The 32-year old, still wearing pads, though returned to the dressing room without further incident.
The fan, claiming himself to be a member of a supporters group, was immediately removed from the field by the BCB security.
The individual apologized for his comment.
The supporters group however, distanced itself from the person in question and said he is not one of their members.
