India's Mohammed Shami and Virat Kohli celebrate the fall of a Bangladesh wicket during day one of the first Test in Indore Thursday AFP

Three wickets had fallen for the score of 140, and in three consecutive deliveries

Bangladesh’s lower middle-order batting fell down like a house of cards as, from 140/5, they were all out for 150.

The batting collapse started with Mushfiqur Rahim’s dismissal in the fifth ball of the 54th over.

It was an incoming delivery from Mohammed Shami, Mushfiq was late in his defence and the stumps were shattered.

Mehedi Hasan Miraz came to the crease and he was adjudged leg-before wicket in the very first ball.

It was another sharp incoming delivery from Shami and Miraz could not manage to connect it.

He was thinking of taking a review and asked his partner Liton Kumar Das.

But Liton did not look all that interested and by practicing a shadow shot indicated that there is no way for Miraz to get a reprieve.

So Miraz went back without reviewing but TV replays showed it was missing the leg-stump!

Ironically in the very next delivery of the next over, bowled by Ishant Sharma, Liton got out after giving a catch to the second slip.

So three wickets had fallen for the score of 140, and in three consecutive deliveries.

Bangladesh’s tail-enders managed to score only 10 more runs before the Tigers were eventually dismissed for 150 after electing to bat first on day one in the Indore Test.
