Prior to that, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the money-spinning competition on December 8.
The tournament has been named after the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to mark his 100th birthday.
Bangladesh Test and T20I captain Shakib al Hasan will not play this special BPL edition due to a two-year ban imposed by the International Cricket Council, with one year of that suspended, for failing to report three corrupt approaches by a listed bookie.
