Yet again, Liton Kumar Das got out when he looked in good touch and one more short yet impressive innings came to an end
Liton Kumar Das played an impressive innings in the second innings as he scored 35 off 39 deliveries with half a dozen boundaries.
The Tigers were already in trouble and facing the threat of an innings defeat when Liton came out to bat after the lunch session on day three.
Mahmudullah got out scoring 15 and Bangladesh’s total was 72 when Liton arrived to the middle to join Mushfiqur Rahim at the other end.
It was a typical innings from Liton.
He scoring some runs, hit a few good shots and then suddenly, when he looked set and in nice touch, he lost his wicket in a frustrating way.
That’s exactly what happened.
The Tigers’ opening pair in the Indore Test match failed again as both the openers Imrul Kayes and Shadman Islam got out scoring single digit runs.https://t.co/TyhyeXHXiO#BCBTIGERS #BCB #TIGERS #BANGLADESHCRICKET #BANGLADESH #CRICKET #IMRULKAYES #SHADMANISLAM #IMRUL #SHADMAN

After scoring a delightful 35, Liton gave Ravichandran Ashwin a return catch in the 40th over and went back to the pavilion shaking his head.
Even in the first innings, Liton looked at ease during his short stay when he scored 21 from 31 deliveries.
In Tests, 20s and 30s are not enough, particularly when one is set at the crease.
A big innings from Liton was required as he formed a 63-run partnership with Mushfiq.
But yet again, Liton got out when he looked in good touch and one more short yet impressive innings came to an end.
