Bangladesh lost both the openers in back to back overs in the first innings and the same scenario was repeated in the second innings
The Tigers’ opening pair in the Indore Test failed again as both the openers Imrul Kayes and Shadman Islam got out scoring single digit runs.
Bangladesh lost both the openers in back to back overs in the first innings and the same scenario was repeated in the second innings.
Both the openers again departed in successive overs, first Imrul in the last ball of the sixth over and then Shadman in the last ball of the seventh over.
Interestingly, both Imrul and Shadman scored six each in the first and second innings!
Mohammad Mithun batted in a very important position, No 4, for @BCBtigers in the Indore Test match against @BCCI.https://t.co/CIJr4jReFv#BCBTIGERS #BCB #TIGERS #BANGLADESHCRICKET #BANGLADESH #CRICKET #BCCI #INDIA #INDIACRICKET #MOHAMMADMITHUN #MOHAMMAD #MITHUN #INDIATEAM

And the common thing is, Bangladesh were right under pressure in the first hour of a day’s play on two occasions.
In the second innings, both the openers got cleaned up as their stumps were uprooted by Umesh Yadav and Ishant Sharma.
Not a happy sight for an opening batsman but in contrast, obviously a great scene for a fast bowler.
