Candidate Master Manon Reja Neer became runners-up in the 28th The Telegraph School’s Chess Championship in Kolkata, India.
Neer earned 7.5 points out of nine games, while Kazi Zarin Tasnim and Women’s Fide Master Noshin Anjum emerged 17th and 21st with seven points each.
In the last round games, Neer beat Pratyay Chowdhury of India, Zarin defeated Shresth Mahapatra of India and Noshin beat Sagnik Saha of India.
