Chattogram Challengers maintained their winning run in the Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League T20 as they beat Cumilla Warriors by 16 runs at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong Friday.

Asked to bat first, the home team posted a commanding 238, losing four wickets in their stipulated 20 overs. Middle-order batsman Chadwick Walton top-scored for his side with a brilliant unbeaten 71 off 27 balls, including five fours and half a dozen sixes.
Makeshift captain Imrul Kayes was not far behind, as the left-handed batsman hammered 62 off 41 deliveries, featuring nine fours and a six.

Opener Avishka Fernando had earlier provided the impetus with a 27-ball 48, with three fours and as many sixes.
Warriors medium pacer Soumya Sarkar bagged two wickets.
In reply, Dawid Malan led from the front with a magnificent 38-ball 84, including seven fours and five sixes.
However, Cumilla eventually fell short in the face of some devastating bowling by left-arm seamer Mehedi Hasan Rana, who picked up four wickets.
