Sadnan Hasan Dihan of Ideal School of Narayanganj took the solo lead in the points table with maximum six points in the Fide Rapid School Chess Tournament that began Friday.
Five players are jointly sharing second position with five points – Zia Tahsin Tajwar Zia of Saint Joseph International School, Swarnavo Chowdhury of Faizur Rahman Ideal School (Malibagh), Sajedul Haque of Ideal Primary School, Women’s Candidate Master Jannatul Ferdous of Motijheel Colony School and Nafim al Karim of Saint Gregory’s School.
Three players are jointly sharing third place with 4.5 points – Ahmed Walijah of Viqarunnisa School and College, Nusrat Jahan Alo of Narayandiya School of Titas and Urbana Chowdhury of Heed International School.
The event is being held in accordance with the seven-round Swiss League system.
