Saif Sporting Club missed the chance to move solely to the top of the standing after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Arambagh Krira Sangha in the day’s second Bangladesh Premier League game at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka.

Yeasin Arafat put Saif ahead in the 28th minute as the young defender headed home a corner from captain Jamal Bhuiyan, who went close to scoring six minutes into the second half only to be denied by the woodwork.
Defender Didarul Haque equalized soon after the hour mark with a flying header following a free-kick from Mostofa Mahmoud’s free-kick.
Saif went all out for the winner but nothing changed as Kingsley’s shot was brilliantly saved by their goalkeeper Pappu Hossain, while Faysal Ahmed Fahim’s low header from a Imran Hasan Rimon cross was saved by Uttam.
