“I gave sample for the test two days ago and (Wednesday) the report came out negative, including those of my father and mother. I was feeling well last few days but still uncertain if I cured fully,” said Nazmul to the media Wednesday.

Meanwhile, former Bangladesh opening batsman Nafees Iqbal and his family, who were also infected, gave samples for their second Covid-19 test.

All the results came out negative.

Nafees said, "Assalamualaikum everyone. Our test results have come and we are all Covid-19 negative, including my mother. Alhamdulilah. It was all possible for your prayers, the way you all looked after me and cared for me.

"I'm sure nothing serious happened due to all your prayers. So I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Thank you so much."
