The country’s top-flight football competition, Bangladesh Premier League 2020-21 season is scheduled to kick off on January 13 after 10 months.
The decision was taken during an executive committee meeting of Bangladesh Football Federation Thursday afternoon.
The meeting was presided by president Kazi Salahuddin who also approved the calendar for 2020-21 and 2021-22 season.
The proposal to build a gymnasium at the premises of BFF House was also approved in the meeting.
The previous edition of BPL 2019-20 was suspended during the sixth round of fixtures due to Covid-19 pandemic in the middle of March.
