Jamal Bhuiyan has flown to Kolkata to become the first Bangladeshi to take part in the Indian League where he will represent Kolkata outfit Mohammedan Sporting Club.
I-League is set to kick off on January 9.
Mohammedan are scheduled to take on debutant Sudeva Delhi FC on the opening day at Salt Lake Stadium.
Jamal recently returned to Dhaka after isolating in the Qatar capital due to Covid-19 infection following the World Cup qualifier against the Asian champion on December 4.
