The South Asian Football Federation Championship will be held next year in September, it was decided by the governing body of football in south Asia in an executive committee meeting Monday.

It was agreed in principle that the Saff Championship will be held from September 14-25 in Dhaka, with all the south Asian nations in agreement bar India, who will announce their decision soon.
Alongside the Saff Championship, the regulatory body of south Asian football will also organize the Saff U-15, U-18 Championship and Saff Women’s U-16, U-19 Championship next year.
