Ace all-rounder Shakib al Hasan has made another discussion point in the country’s sport as it is revealed that the cricketer is an enlisted voter for the upcoming election of Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club.
Shakib is listed at number 310 in the voters’ list of the traditional club that was published on Tuesday. The 33-year old is currently in US to be with his wife who is expecting their third child in March. There is a wide discussion on Shakib for having got involved in a club as a member despite being a current player representing Bangladesh at the highest level.

Shakib has recently been on the receiving end of heavy criticism for his decision to participate in the upcoming season of lucrative Indian Premier League T20 and skip Test matches for Bangladesh against Sri Lanka in April to join the money-spinning extravaganza.

Left-arm all-rounder Shakib was picked by IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders for Indian Rupee 3.2 crores from the players’ auction held earlier this month.
