Walton has been named the title sponsor of the two-match Test series between Bangladesh and hosts Sri Lanka.
The official name of the series has been titled "Walton Sri Lanka-Bangladesh Series".
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the officials of Walton and ITW Sports Management, the owner of the series last Monday.
Walton Group executive director Uday Hakim and head of ITW Consulting Bangladesh Private Limited Mohammad Sharik signed the agreement.
Daraz will appear on the kits of both Bangladesh national men’s and women’s team, Bangladesh A Team and the Bangladesh U19 team

“The world is passing through a tough time due to the Covid-19 pandemic. But the happy thing is that cricket has started to return to the field overcoming the fear of the deadly virus. The national cricket team have already returned to the country, concluding their New Zealand tour. The team are now set to tour Sri Lanka to play the two-Test series,” said Hakim in a media release.
Bangladesh team are scheduled to leave Dhaka for Colombo Monday.
The first Test is scheduled to be played from April 21 at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy while the second game is set to start on April 29 at the same venue.
