According to El Pais journalist Juan Irigoyen, Ramos has already got in touch with Messi and offered his home to the Argentine and his family whilst they search a new residence
Paris Saint Germain defender Sergio Ramos has allegedly invited Lionel Messi, the Parisian outfit's latest signing, a place to stay until he gets to know his new surroundings after his stunning move from Spanish club Barcelona.
According to El Pais journalist Juan Irigoyen, Ramos has already got in touch with Messi, who set foot in the French capital this week after joining PSG, and offered his home to the Argentine and his family whilst they search a new residence.
"If you and your family prefer to be in a house rather than in a hotel, you can stay at mine," the 35-year old defender reportedly told his new teammate, with Irigoyen citing sources close to Ramos.
"Sergio admires and respects Leo a lot. Before, the situation was what it was, now he will defend him as one of his own," the source added.
On many an occasion in the past, Spaniard Ramos, who also joined PSG after failing to agree a deal with his former employers Real Madrid, was at loggerheads with Messi, especially in the El Clasico.
But it is strictly water under the bridge as Ramos will now share the dressing room with Messi.
The Argentina captain is said to be staying at a Paris hotel with his family while PSG try to find a permanent home for the six-time Ballon d'Or winner, and schools for his three kids.
This is not the first time though that center back Ramos has invited Messi to stay at his home.
Ramos gave a home-share offer to Messi back in March this year when the two were still at their previous clubs.
