New football season to begin with Independence Cup

The new football season will begin with the Independence Cup, on the occasion of 50 years of independence.

The BFF is going to bring a little change in the schedule of the upcoming season.

Although the season usually starts with the Federation Cup, this season will start with the Independence Cup.

The Bangladesh Football Federation wants to organize the Independence Cup this season on a large scale to mark 50 years of independence.

The BFF will reveal the calendar of the new football season soon.

In this regard, a press conference was held Monday at the conference room of BFF Bhaban to provide all the details of the competition.

BFF senior vice president and professional league management committee's chairman Abdus Salam Murshedy, deputy chairman Abdur Rahim, members Zakir Hossain Chowdhury, Nurul Islam Nuru and Elias Hossain and BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag, were among others, present at the press conference.

In the press conference, trophy and medals were handed over to NoFeL Sporting Club, the runners-up team of the Bangladesh Championship League.
