Mithun's 101 came off 206 balls, including seven fours and a six
Bangladesh middle-order batsman Mohammad Mithun lit up the final day's play with a century as the second four-day match between Bangladesh A and BCB HP team ended in a draw in Chittagong's Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.
The A team at stumps posted 371/6 in their second innings, riding on Mithun's 101 and Yasir Ali's 86.
Mithun faced 206 balls and struck seven fours and a six as he added 151 for the fifth wicket with Yasir, who played 116 deliveries in his knock, hitting half a dozen boundaries and three sixes.
Chasing 366 for an improbable victory, the HP team ended their reply on 148/3 with Shahadat Hossain remaining unbeaten on 44 and Parvez Hossain scoring 43.
The first four-dayer between the two teams had also ended in a draw in what was a rain-curtailed affair.
